Buenos Aires, Argentina

The home of Evita, Tango and Steak!
This amazing city was my first trip as a flight attendant and I loved every moment! Although it was a rather long journey (12 hours there, almost 15 hours back!) it was well worth it. I had heard much about Buenos Aires from my mother who used to visit often for work. Unfortunately our group did run into a bit of trouble of the street when one of the girls was mugged. Nevertheless, we soldiered on and went on a tour that showed us many different areas of the city! The best meal was on the first night when we ate empanadas, steak and potatoes and finished with a crema catalana with dulce de leche on the side! Speaking of dulce de leche, the Argentine specialty of Alfajores was an amazing treat!
